I WOULD FIND MYSELF STANDING WITH THE FRIDGE DOOR OPEN EATING SPOONFULS OF ICE CREAM OR EATING “ALL THE THINGS” AT THE COUNTER EVEN THOUGH I WASN’T HUNGRY.
I TRIED TO SET STRICT RULES AROUND ‘EATING HEALTHY’ BUT IF I SLIPPED UP I’D THINK, “WELL F*CK IT I MIGHT AS WELL EAT EVERYTHING AND START FRESH TOMORROW”.
I’D LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND FEEL SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE REFLECTION STARING BACK AT ME. ALL I COULD SEE WERE FLAWS.
I WOULD WEIGH MYSELF MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY & THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE WOULD DETERMINE IF IT WAS A GOOD DAY OR A BAD DAY.
I THOUGHT IF I COULD JUST EAT HEALTHY & STICK TO MY WORKOUT PLAN I’D FEEL MORE CONFIDENT. I TOLD MYSELF I NEEDED TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED BUT JUST COULDN’T SEEM TO STICK TO THE PLAN. CUE : SO MUCH CRITICAL SELF TALK
I’D SPEND WAY TOO MUCH TIME COMPARING MYSELF TO OTHER GIRLS. THINKING THEY WERE PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL AND I WAS SO…BLAH.
I MISSED SO MANY MOMENTS IN LIFE BECAUSE I WAS EITHER WORRYING ABOUT FOOD AND MY BODY RATHER THAN BEING PRESENT OR I SKIPPED OUT COMPLETELY BECAUSE I WASN’T “FEELING WELL”.
MY LIFE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT I JUST DIDN’T FEEL VERY HAPPY ON THE INSIDE & I DIDN’T KNOW WHY.

PLEASE DON’T GO ON ANOTHER DIET!!
Diets, restriction, cleanses, tracking apps and obsessing about your weight are the very things that got you where you are right now. They claim to be solutions but they’re actually just distracting you from getting to the root of things. Here’s the problem…
Most health and wellness efforts focus on two things ;
1. Your food intake and/or
2. Your exercise routine
While this might create short-term change it rarely results in the long lasting transformation I know you’re looking for. The reality is 98% of diets fail within the first two years and the majority of dieters gain back any weight they lost, plus some. There is nothing wrong with gaining weight but if that’s not your goal this cycle can feel really frustrating.

FOOD & EXERCISE-APPROACH DOESN’T WORK
SPOILER : It isn’t because you’re not disciplined enough.
NUMBER 1 : YOUR BODY IS DESIGNED TO FIGHT RESTRICTION
The natural survival mechanisms of our body are not designed to support food restriction. When we restrict (even if we’re just thinking about restricting) the body goes on high alert for food so we start thinking about it, craving it and usually eating more of it than we need. We have to build back trust with our body and the most powerful way we can do this is through through the Raw Beauty framework of intuitive eating & the Golden Guidelines.
NUMBER 2 : YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS
Your mindset and specifically the beliefs you hold about yourself and the world are POWERFUL. What you believe you become. If you believe you are not enough, not worthy, not loveable, not likely to succeed, not disciplined enough you will likely find yourself taking actions to prove yourself right at a subconscious level…even if it’s the opposite of what you want. To create sustainable change we have to transform our limiting beliefs into new empowering ones through awareness, healing & action.
As you uplevel your belief system you’ll be amazed at how life just starts to align.
NUMBER 3 : FOOD ISN’T ACTUALLY THE PROBLEM
Food isn’t actually the problem. Read that again. FOOD ISN’T THE PROBLEM. It’s simply the best solution you’ve come up with to help you deal with a problem (anything from every day work stress to a pandemic to past trauma) or difficult emotions. You can try to manipulate food as much as you want but until you find coping strategies or heal the underlying issue you’re just placing a bandaid on a gaping wound.
So you feel a bit out of control around food, your workout routine is inconsistent and you’re starting to lose faith that you’ll ever be able to get back on track…
Not so fast. I felt exactly the same way, battling both an extreme eating disorder that hospitalized me and then an exhausting pattern of restricting and binging. I truly thought that was just how my life was going to play out until I met an amazing coach who supported me in taking those first steps in a completely different direction.
I learned the fundamentals of intuitive eating but more importantly did a deep dive into learning about myself, mastering my mindset and unearthing limiting beliefs that were no longer serving me.

Q: I’ve tried so many things and nothing has worked. How will this be different?
A: I know how it feels to lose hope in yourself. I know how it feels to be promised something that doesn’t deliver. I also know this strategy has worked for me and countless clients just like you. This isn’t a passive program where I throw information at you hoping something will stick. I’m all about transformation over information and we get there by going deeper than the food that you eat and the exercise that you do.
You are going to apply the lessons you learn each week to your life, practicing them with the support of a community of women and coaches. The only reasons it won’t work for you are if you don’t show up to do the work or if you are struggling with a serious medical problem that is beyond my scope of practice. Q: What if I can’t make the Live group calls?
A: All our calls are recorded and available in the members section after the session so you can tune in when it works for you. If you can’t make the call but you have a question you can always submit it to Erin via email and she’ll answer it anonymously on the recording.
Q: I don’t have Facebook. Do I need it to participate?
A: Having a Facebook is not necessary to participate in The Reset. You may consider setting up a temporary account for the duration of the program so that you get the support of the group but that’s totally up to you.
Q: I am recovering from an Eating Disorder. Is this program appropriate for me?
A: If you are currently struggling with an eating disorder, severe anxiety or depression it is required that you book a consultation with Dr. Hillary McBride prior to joining the group to ensure it is appropriate for you. She is familiar with the program and will be able to determine if you are in a place to benefit from it.
Alright girl. Let’s dig deep and get personal because it’s really important you know who I am and WHY I’m so passionate about helping you feel more confident, energized and powerful in your body.
Despite having a pretty normal upbringing my teens and early 20’s were a rockstar rollercoaster of highs and lows. I probably appeared pretty normal to the outside world but on the inside I was battling anxiety, depression, disordered eating and panic attacks while constantly ending up in toxic relationships or burnt out from all my people pleasing tendencies.
In my teens, what started out as a pretty innocent wish to be happier spiralled into a total obsession with food, calories and obtaining the “perfect” body. Something I’ve seen happen far too often. It is a very slippery slope, the one between “healthy” eating and obsession. I lost a good chunk of my youth along with my health (hair loss, organs shutting down, inability to think clearly, periodically fainting etc.), some friends and most importantly myself. Luckily I was admitted into an incredible hospital program in BC where I spent 3 months re-nourishing my body, learning tools to help me cope better with stress and deep diving into what makes me truly happy.
This was the breakdown that started the breakthrough. The crack that required me to stop everything to build a new foundation. A foundation upon which I would build my strongest self, Raw Beauty Co. and all that is to come. I spent the next 10 years on a journey to find peace with my body, a sense of calm within and that deep, lasting kind of happiness that doesn’t come from a big shopping spree or hitting your goal weight.
I launched Raw Beauty Co. with the hope of sharing real, raw images and stories of women and their self love journeys. I created it for myself but was amazed by the reaction from people around the world. I hold the conversations I’ve had close to my heart and have learned more from the women I’ve spoken to than I would have in a lifetime. My experiences thus far have led me to the place I am today – a million miles from that person I used to be.
Today I’m lucky to be healthy, deeply happy, connected to my body, married to the man of my dreams, the mom of a wild, adorable little boy and a sweet, shy little girl! We recently moved from Vancouver, BC to the great mountains of Whistler to be closer to nature but we’re still only a plane ride away from even more adventure. My external world is beautiful but I truly believe it is simply a representation of how I feel on the inside.
I know intimately what it feels like to be lost, anxious, unsettled, unsure, unconfident, jealous, yearning, unhappy and unhealthy. I don’t want anyone to live in that space for too long. Life is far too short to be anything other than the happiest, healthiest version of YOU, living the life of your dreams.
In 2017, I completed my health coaching certification through the Health Coach Institute. As a health coach I have the honour of sharing tools that will help you create positive, life changing habits that will help you find health, happiness and peace with your body and from within.
Who I Want To Work With
I’m looking for motivated, driven women who have a strong idea about how they want to show up in life but their eating/body image/lack of confidence is getting in the way. I work with women who strive to be their best whether that’s in the office, at school or at home with the kids. While they might be a little afraid to do this work, they are ready to let go of what’s holding them back so that they can finally feel free.
