Tell us about yourself in under 100 words:

I love laughing, being active, spending time with my family and being creative.

Are you someone who has ever felt pressure to look a certain way or insecurities surrounding your appearance?

I was probably most insecure about the way I looked as a teenager. I thought everything about me was weird or wrong.

I never have felt pressure to look a certain way. As a designer it’s more about creating a style that is in harmony with my core values and will make others feel good about themselves when they wear it.

When do you feel most beautiful?

When I’m swimming. When I’m laughing with my children.

What is something about yourself that most people don’t know?

I love watching The Food Network.

You’re a mom to 5 boys, just launched Kit & Ace, are the Co-Founder of Whil, the Founder of Imagine1Day and you still have time to work out. Are you superwoman (we’re pretty sure you must be!!)? Do you ever burn out or feel overwhelmed?

I do things I’m passionate about and so for the most part I’m fueled by what I do. However, occasionally I will over do it or over commit and at that point I need to give myself a little love and go take a nap.

What day-to-day rituals/activities/beliefs help you connect to the best version of yourself?

I need to be physically active everyday. A good workout energizes me and clears my head so I can focus on the priorities.

Does Kit & Ace digitally alter the bodies or faces (wrinkles, smoothing of skin etc.) of models in their advertisements/product shots/? If yes, can you explain why? If no, was that a conscious choice?

It was not a conscious choice to not digitally alter the bodies or faces of the models we use in our Kit and Ace product shots. We find that with great lighting, a stylist and a talented photographer we’re able to capture images that work for the brand.

If you could give one message to women of the world what would it be?

Treat yourself with kindness.
