Hi Dani! Tell us about yourself in under 100 words:

I try hard to stay positive and always find the bright side to a situation. I am compassionate and caring. I believe in karma, that you get back what you put in, and thus try my best to treat people as I would like to be treated. I try to be a good listener, but it is not always my strong point. I have a bit of ADD in me, which proves to be difficult at times. I love my creative side and wish that I delved into it more often.

If you were talking on the phone to someone you had never met how would you describe your appearance?

I have an athletic build, olive skin tone with hazel eyes. Average height. Brown hair. I am white, but people usually ask what I am, I could pass for Latina, Spanish, Middle Eastern, etc.

Have you ever struggled with a lack of confidence or insecurities?

Of course! What woman hasn’t? I will say that as I get older, the episodes of insecurity become shorter and fewer. Mostly my insecurities come when I have not been taking good care of my body. I could look exactly the same as I did three weeks ago, but if I have not been exercising or eating well I will be convinced that I am gaining weight, or don’t look as good. I can also be insecure about the clothing I choose to wear to an event, a dinner out for example.  Are my clothes nice enough? Too fancy? Should I have worn heels? Not worn heels? Do I look like I am trying too hard? I also sometimes wonder if I am doing enough. I see other people who are so motivated and doing so much with their lives, I am sometimes insecure thinking that I should be doing more, that I am not living up to my potential.

When do you feel most beautiful?

When I am natural, no make-up, no fuss. When I have been taking care of my body. When I am happy and have been leading my life in a way I am proud of, that is when I feel most beautiful.

What are your “Not Enough” feelings?

– Don’t work hard enough to advance my career

– Don’t workout enough

– Don’t make enough money

– Am not fit enough

– Do not do enough for others

If you were given the option to change your appearance would you? If yes, what would you change?

Nope, I am the way I am supposed to be. Maybe my breasts, I wish they were perkier.

What are 5 things you love about yourself?

I love my 1. positive attitude, 2. my desire/calling to help others, 3. my athletic/sporty side, 4. my inner child who always keeps me young at heart, 5. my smile.

I say cellulite, you think:

What is your message to other women out there?

Love yourself! We all have amazing attributes, if you don’t know them already, find them, they are there. We all have inner beauty to share with the world. We are all different and that is what makes us so special. Remember that attitude and persona we take on rubs off on others. Spread love, beauty and positivity, it will come back to you when you need it most and least expect it.
