Your body is on your team. It is a brilliant and sophisticated system designed to support you in experiencing life to the fullest. Our senses allow us to experience various dimensions of our human experience and we have the gift of feeling all kinds of emotions that enrich our lives. In moments our experience can be challenging and even painful and we’ve found many ways to avoid the uncomfortable feelings. We use food, our devices, tv, alcohol and other tactics to avoid the hard parts. We create a divide between our mind and our body, speaking negatively about it and trying to control it rather than work with it.
Our body is sending us thousands of messages every moment, communicating it’s needs and yet we rarely tune in to hear what it is asking for.
